Nail Polish Add-ons
To get that extra aesthetic look, or cover unsightly nails (such as fungal or discoloured nails) this appointment also includes a polish application service. We have a range of polish options to suit different nails and different goals including gel varnish, normal nail varnish, and nail varnish specifically for fungal nails.
Toenail Reconstruction
A toenail reconstruction is for patients who have lost part of their toenail, and uses specialist products to temporarily rebuild the nail. The product used is especially for toenails, meaning it acts similarly to a toenail, doesn’t hinder healthy nail growth, and provides an aesthetic solution. A toenail reconstruction lasts up to 6 weeks depending on the patient’s habits and lifestyle.
Home Visits
Our home visit appointments are perfect for patients who may struggle getting to the clinic. We have two appointment sessions available to book - Session 1 (between 10am and 1pm) and Session 2 (between 1pm and 4pm) - We will arrive with you between these times. Areas covered include Woodhouse, Beighton, Halfway, Mosborough, Sothall, Waterthorpe, and Wales.
Fungal Nail Testing
Unfortunately, a lot of toenail conditions including fungal nail (onychomycosis) present very similarly, making accurate diagnosis extremely difficult. However, by taking some nail clippings and scrapings, it is possible to conduct a test to determine if the common spores that cause fungal nail infections are present. This can help ensure that the most targeted and effective treatments are being considered. The test is painless and results are available the same day.
